CAI, an STG portfolio company, is a fast-growing, private equity–backed business at the forefront of Process Manufacturing, specifically with experience in Food & Beverage. We are seeking a Vice President of Product who is passionate about building products customers love, leading talented teams, and driving measurable impact in the market. This is a high-visibility leadership role with responsibility for shaping our product vision, strategy, and execution across Enterprise, Mid-Market, and SMB segments.

The VP of Product will bring deep experience in team leadership, customer-centric innovation, and portfolio management—balancing the launch of growth-oriented products while maintaining the success of established offerings. The right leader thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and knows how to connect market insights with engineering execution to deliver ROI-driven results for our customers.

What You’ll Do

• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing product management team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration across product, engineering, and go-to-market functions.

• Own product strategy anchored in customer outcomes, ICP clarity, and ROI.
• Set direction for both growth products and those in maintenance mode, ensuring balance across the portfolio.
• Drive platform innovation with a keen eye on AI-driven capabilities and customer adoption.
• Know the Market
• Lead market research, competitive intelligence, and pricing strategy.
• Stay ahead of competitor differentiators and define how we win in every segment.
• Partner with commercial leadership to align product positioning with customer buying drivers.
• Execute with Excellence
• Collaborate with engineering to deliver scalable, high-quality products across both cloud and on-premise environments.
• Ensure roadmaps are clear, data-driven, and aligned with company growth and EBITDA goals.
• Champion mutual accountability between product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to meet and exceed expectations.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive product leadership experience, including leading and scaling high-performing teams.
• Proven success managing portfolios across Enterprise, Mid-Market, and SMB segments.
• Experience with cloud-native and on-premise product delivery models.
• Knowledge of how AI creates customer value and competitive advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs and market insights into innovative product strategies.
• Strong financial and business acumen with proven ability to build ROI-based investment cases.
• Experience in private equity–backed or high-growth companies a strong plus.
• Preferred experience in process manufacturing or food & beverage (F&B) manufacturing industries.
• Executive presence with the ability to inspire teams, influence stakeholders, and engage customers.
